Visit APHA's website at www.apha.com
to find information on all their great programs - Ride America, PAC,
Breeders' Trust, Gelding Plus, APHA-hosted trail rides, online services,
judges' academy, youth & amateur programs, shopping in the General
Store, 2006 rules, & so much more! APHA keeps Paint Horse
enthusiasts up to date online as well as through three great
publications - their free monthly e-mail newsletter, the quarterly APHA
Connection, & the award-winning Paint Horse Journal.
The BCPHC realizes that it is hard to provide activities
to promote our Paint Horses in all corners of this vast province.
Nor do we have the manpower to physically do this. So, we have
tried to create a 'system' to encourage Paint Horse enthusiasts to
organize their own events in their area and provide an opportunity
to better connect with one another, yet have the involvement and support
of the Club. Would you like to put on a show with APHA approved
classes in your area? Or organize a trail ride? Or a schooling
show or a clinic? Please see our
Sanctioning Policy on how to approach the B.C. Paint Horse Club
with your ideas, so that your event can be 'sanctioned' and thus promoted,
insured or included for year end awards. Please contact President
Louise Bruce at (604)
530-8310 or by e-mail ljbruce@telus.net
should you have any questions.
