The Mane Event - Oct 17-19, 2008
Chilliwack, BC
Before you know it, the Fraser Valley will once again host an equine trade show for every horse enthusiast. If you have not yet attended The Mane Event, it is a must see and it is held in Chilliwack on October 17-19, 2008. Please visit their website www.maneeventexpo.com for more information. The BCPHC will sponsor a booth to promote the Paint Horse breed & our club, but we need your help as a member. Over the last few years we have had volunteers available to replenish material APHA provides to issue to all interested visitors. Once again we are asking our members to consider representing our club & be present at the Mane Event to cover a shift at our BCPHC booth. Please contact Colleen Schellenberg for information on how you can benefit by helping the club

Free Trophy Program
The BCPHC Free Trophy Program is open to anyone, including non-members,
exhibiting an APHA registered Paint Horse. This program is offered to
any B.C. Horse Club that is reasonably certain they will have entries
from at least 2 APHA registered horses, at one of your premiere
shows/competitions. A "prize" (not necessarily a trophy) could be
offered to the highpoint Paint Horse exhibitor at the subscribing event
or it could be saved as a year end award for your top placing APHA
registered Paint Horse. This year the program is co-sponsored by Otter
Co-op and Full Line Specialties Inc. Interested organizations should
contact Colleen Schellenberg for more information about the 2008 program before June 30th as there are a limited number of prizes available.
